This is the first article of a new category on our website – YOGA APPS. But why did we start this category? First of all, I’ve been doing yoga for more than 25 years. And the other reason – yoga is a part of mobile world now. Using numerous apps on smartphone or tablet devices, everyone can do yoga themselves without having to find a teacher. It’s the simplest solution for both beginners and experienced yogis. That’s why these articles will be informative to people who practise yoga daily and the ones who just love tech and mobile devices.
What do we know about yoga? There had been many investigations which revealed the reasons why people start doing yoga. This, of course, includes becoming healthier, losing weight, reducing stress, increasing concentration and work efficiency, relaxing your mind and even staying young. All these things help us be more energetic, motivated, focused and determined.
Yoga makes our bodies flexible and strong. It restores the hormonal balance stimulating the function of endocrine glands. As a result, there is a perfect combination of hormones circulating in your blood around the whole body. All systems in the organism start working like a Swiss watch, which also positively affects your mental state.
Yoga is absolutely universal. You can start practising it at any age no matter where you live or where you work. Besides, yoga doesn’t require any special equipment or even space. All you need to do is find a comfortable place and do yoga practice.
Today, yoga has become closer to everyone, especially young people, due to mobile apps. There are all kinds of them: some apps offer asana, others – pranayama, static or dynamic exercises, meditations, and so on. In upcoming articles in this category, we’ll be telling more about these apps and how useful they are. And of course, every article will feature some short and helpful recommendations for all yogis.
