Here’s the brief review of Xiaomi new budget smartphone Mi A1, developed in cooperation with Google as a part of the program Android One. Although the new smartphone belongs mainly to the middle-end segment, it has great specs. The Xiaomi Mi A1 is cased in a metal body, it has a 5.5-inch IPS Full HD display, an octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor, 4GB RAM and 64GB storage.
A distinctive feature of the phone is a dual main camera, which includes a 12MP 50mm telephoto sensor and a 12MP 26 mm wide-angle sensor. This combination provides a double optical zoom. As for the front camera, its resolution is 5MP.
The new smartphone runs the operating system Android 7.1.2 Nougat with a “clean” interface, which means no MIUI skin. Until the end of 2017, the Mi A1 should be upgraded to Android 8.0 Oreo. Lastly, the smartphone is powered by the 3 080mAh battery.
