A few days ago Samsung confirmed the information about the upcoming release of Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus. Both smartphones will be presented during the regular Samsung Unpacked. However, thanks to a famous insider Evan Blass, we can check out the smartphone right now.
The shape of the smartphone is quite peculiar – it is stretched. In fact, the width will be twice as shorter as its length. The right edge will have the lock button and the extending Edge UX menu on the screen. Apparently, the left edge has volume regulation buttons and a button for activing a voice assistant Bixby. Another notable feature – no Samsung logo and no Home button under the display.
Earlier, Evan Blass shared the specs of both smartphones. For example, Samsung S8 Plus will have a 6.2-inch QHD display (2:1 ratio), IP68 water and dust protection, 12 MP camera, 4GB RAM, and so on. Plus, a special mention should be made of Samsung KNOX support and a retina scanner.
