Tesla is mostly known for its electric vehicles and various solar energy projects. For instance, the company recently launched an electric truck. However, Tesla is also trying to explore the mobile accessory market – the company just released its own power bank.
Apart from the main component of the battery, based on the company’s car battery technology, this is a pretty regular power bank. The device is designed to charge smartphones or any other USB devices, and it is small enough to fit in your pocket.
As for characteristics, the power bank comes with two types of ports: Lightning and microUSB. It means that the power bank works well with both Apple and Android smartphones and tablets. With 5V / 1.5A, it charges all gadgets well. The only concern is a relatively capacity – 3 350mAh. Still, it will be enough for a single charge of your smartphone.
Tesla Powerbank is available for $45 and can be ordered on the company’s official website.
