It was hard for Samsung to recover from the disastrous Note 7 scandal. Nonetheless, the company doesn’t seem to give up – it continues to produce new mobile devices. For example, tablets. Samsung has produced tablets in all shapes and sizes, with various features and prices. Their Tab line-up is the most distinctive one. And now, there’s a new addition to this series – the Galaxy Tab A with S Pen.
The S Pen actually comes from the notorious Note 7. It was one of the novelties that users liked very much. Due to the S Pen users could draw, write and operate the phone. Tab A brings all these functions to tablets. It even has a new Samsung Notes app, so you’ll definitely find a way to use your S Pen.
The numbers and characteristics won’t surprise you too much but are much better, compared to previous models. Tab A has a wide, 10.1-inch display (resolution – 1920×1200 pixels). Running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, the tablet is powered by an octa-core Exynos 7870 processor. As for other software features, it has 3GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt memory (of course, expandable).
The tablet has two cameras. The rear one has 8 MP, autofocus and is able to record 1080p videos. The frontal one has only 2 MP but you wouldn’t use such a big tablet for selfies, so that’s not a serious disadvantage. One more great feature is its 7.300mAh battery that allows you to work for a long time. Samsung even states that you can play videos for 13 straight hours until the battery runs low.
All things, considered, Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1-inch tablet is nice functional mobile device with great future. The tablet was met with praise from users, so, hopefully, it will be successful. After all mishaps and scandals, that’s exactly what Samsung needs.
