In order to attract visitors, restaurants have to follow modern trends, like releasing mobile apps, offering bonuses and others. KFC, being one of the most popular chains of fast food restaurants in the world, went even further and introduced its own smartphone. It was made in cooperation with Huawei in honour of the 30th anniversary of KFC in China. The new smartphone device was named KFC Huawei 7 Plus and will be released quantity 5,000 pieces. Its owners will receive special privileges in KFC restaurants.
KFC Huawei 7 Plus comes with a pre-installed app from KFC and K-Music service. The latter will allow smartphone owners to choose the music they want to listen to in one of the 4,000 KFC restaurants in China.
The smartphone is equipped with Snapdragon 425 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32 GB storage and support for microSD memory cards up to 128 GB. Apart from that, the device has a fingerprint sensor along with a 3020mAh battery. So far, there is no additional information about its characteristics.
The smartphone may not be the most powerful or functional but that’s not the point here. It is a great opportunity for the Chinese to enjoy delicious food from their favourite restaurant and receive some kind of a bonus for it.
