MacBooks May Have E-Ink Keyboards

2 days ago Apple introduced their new MacBooks, and their main and most impressive detail is Touch Bar, an OLED adaptive keyboard that substituted all the function keys. But geniuses in Apple are ready to surprise the world with another innovative feature.

According to the Wall Street Journal, in 2018 MacBooks will be fitted with a touch-sensitive keyboard, based on the E Ink (electronic ink) technology. Apple engineers claim that it will male MacBooks thinner and yet more functional. A regular keyboard will be replaced with a display that will have all standard buttons, plus some additional ones and special symbols.

The concept, according to the same source, is being discussed between Apple and Australian company Sonder Design. The latter has produced their keyboard which can be considered as a foundation for upcoming MacBook keyboards. There are even rumours about acquisition of Sonder from Apple.
