Apple engineers claim that it will male MacBooks thinner and yet more functional. A regular keyboard will be replaced with a display that will have all standard buttons, plus some additional ones and special symbols.
The concept, according to the same source, is being discussed between Apple and Australian company Sonder Design. The latter has produced their keyboard which can be considered as a foundation for upcoming MacBook keyboards. There are even rumours about acquisition of Sonder from Apple.
