LG introduced an unusual smartphone LG K7i with a very practical distinctive feature – the phone supports the technology Mosquito Away which repels mosquitoes. This technology is also used in some other LG products, like TVs or air conditioners.
The smartphone, released specifically for the Indian market, uses ultrasound which comes from special speaker fitted on the back panel (if necessary, it can be replaced with the regular one). The frequency of this ultrasound waves is 30kHz, so people can’t hear them but mosquitoes are scared away immediately. In addition, the set includes Mosquito Away Stand mosquito repellent docking station.
As for main technical characteristics of the device, it’s equipped with a 5-inch 2.5D-display (854×480 resolution), a quad-core processor MediaTek MTK6737M with a 1.1 GHz clock speed, 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. Also, the smartphone has a slot for microSD cards up to 32GB.
The resolution of the smartphone’s main camera is 8 MP, the front camera – 5MP. The battery of the smartphone has a capacity of 2500mAh, and the device supports 4G, based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
