Chinese company DJI presented the cheapest and most compact drone in its line-up. A new device, called Spark, is smaller than a can of soda, weighs only 270g, but has fantastic functionality.
Most importantly, it supports gesture control and can take off from hand recognizing the owner by face. Spark can track an assigned object and its built-in sensors help the drone avoid collisions with obstacles. The maximum speed of the Spark is 50 km/h, and the standard battery provides it with 16 minutes of flight.
What’s more, users can charge the drone on the go using an external battery. The Spark’s camera is another advantage. It can shoot Full HD video and make 12 MP photos. In addition, the feature QuickShot automatically processes the video, turning it into 10-second clip for posting on social media.
DJI has already started sales.
