Apple Watch is obviously good for keeping track of physical activities and trainings. Unfortunately, this device has a bit of a flaw – it can’t track your activity around the clock. The watch needs to be charged very often and it’s not programmed to track sleep. However, there are solutions for Apple from third-party developers.
In fact, the Cupertino company has already acquired one of these developers. Beddit, which manufactures software and sleep monitoring devices, made a few changes in its privacy policy and reported a new deal with Apple. Information on the new privacy policy can be found in the updated Beddit app for iOS.
At Beddit’s disposal there are not only popular sleep monitoring apps for iOS and Apple Watch. At the AppStore, you can purchase Beddit 3 Sleep Monitor, which serves the same purpose. The app studies how the users sleeps and offers recommendations if sleep quality is bad.
It seems like there can be only one opinion about why Apple made this acquisition – Apple Watch will be improved and finally get the possibility to track sleep. Nevertheless, the details of the deal aren’t fully known at the moment.
