Obviously, the latest Apple presentation is mostly remembered for iPhone 8 and iPhone X but Apple introduced two other devices: Apple Watch Series 3 and new Apple TV box. After that, the Cupertino company updated operating systems for all these devices. We’ve already written about iOS 11 and now it’s the turn of watchOS 4 and tvOS 11.
WatchOS 4
Among the novelties and improvements, we should mention you can note new clock faces, a modified multitasking menu and a more advanced music player which is now displayed on top of the apps if the music is playing. In addition, in the new operating system for its smartwatches, Apple paid much attention to sports features. In particular, the watch has learned to recognize new types of working out and became more accurate to tracking physical activities and collecting different sports data.
TVOS 11
A new operating system for Apple TV boxes came with fewer innovations. The notable features include a quick change of the dark and light TV modes, depending on the time of day, synchronization of the main screen with other consoles, running under one Apple ID, support for 4K content and support for Apple wireless headphones. Both operating systems are currently available for download.
