The company Nintendo officially announced its new portable console SNES Classic Edition. This device will certainly be nostalgic for some users because it’s a smaller version of the classic SNES that was a big hit in the 90s. New SNES will come with 21 pre-installed classical games and go on sale in Europe on September 29.
Among the standard games there will be such classics as Donkey Kong Country, Super Mario World, The Legend of Zelda, and many others. The new edition of SNES will include an HDMI cable, a USB cable for power and two wired gamepads.
Nintendo noted that SNES Classic Edition, just like its predecessor, will become a limited product. It means that the company plans to release a relatively small batch of devices. However, Nintendo assured everyone that it will make more of its new console to avoid the deficit that was observed a year earlier.
As a reminder, the original SNES hit the shelves of Japanese stores in November 1990. A year later the console reached the western audience. The console became a bestseller and made happy thousands of children around the world. Hopefully, the same will be said about the new instalment of SNES.
