A car camera always provides a driver with more comfortable and worry-free driving environment. A Xiaomi proposes a middle-end car camera with a wide range of functions – 160 Degree Wide Angle Xiaomi Mijia Car DVR Camera. Well, here’s the review.
A Mijia cam has 60 degree wide angle and 1920 x 1080P resolution, backed with Mstar 1080P image process chip. As the manufacturer promises, WiFi connection of the gadget reaches real-time transmission, so there is no need to consume flows of SIM card.
In addition, the camera starts recording by auto power on, so there is no need to operate it with your hands. Another feature the cam boosts – parking monitoring.

In the package you receive the tool itself, a protective film, a reserve circle of bi-adhesive tape, a USB charger and a clicking blade. Actually, you fix the camera on the window glass of the car not with a sucker, but with a bi-adhesive tape. The film should be put on the glass so that there are no traces after removing the camera. By the way, USB input charger is designed with an angled tip, so that there would no cable curvature when attaching it to the camera. Another advantage is a flexible knuckle that allows you to fix camera at any comfortable position.
One would also notice fine, laconic design with monolith plastic body of matte black color. The material is very qualitative, and the circle on the lens is made of sturdy metal. You basically operate the camera via 4 sensor buttons on the display. Other buttons are the on\off and reset ones. To my mind, the operation via an app is very intuitive. Once you are done with the main settings, there is nothing more to do or regulate.
In the end, the camera is very functional, practical, and definitely worth the price. If you are looking for a modern, intuitively operated and easy-to-use DVR cam, take a closer look at this Asian item.
