The Company Chuwi presented a new Compact 2-in-1 Tablet called Chuwi CoreBook. The device is positioned as a compact and simple alternative to laptops. The tablet is much lighter and easier to carry and it comes with an external keyboard for typing.
CoreBook was created in cooperation with Intel and Microsoft. Obviously, the first came up with the processor – it’s an Intel Core m3 chipset with top clock speed of 2.6GHz. As for Microsoft, it supplied CoreBook with Windows 10 operating system. Other software specs include 6GB RAM, 128GB storage, a 10000mAh battery (works for 8 hours), and so on.
CoreBook is made in a thin all-metal case which is only 8.5mm thick. There is also an unusual feature for tablets – a 2.5D display with rounded edges. It is a 13.3-inch display with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels without an air gap between the matrix and glass. The screen supports a stylus and recognizes 1 024 degrees of pressure. At the top there are two stereo speakers, microUSB connectors and USB Type-C (USB 3.0), a 3.5 mm audio jack and a microSDXC memory card slot with a maximum capacity of 128GB.
Chuwi CoreBook was launched on Indiegogo and it already raised the necessary amount of money. The gadget is available for pre-order, and we will inform readers when the Chuwi CoreBook 2-in-1 Tablet will be available to buy in online stores.
