The biggest tech event of the year finally happened – Apple held its annual presentation at the recently-opened Steve Jobs theater. Here’s a quick review of all novelties that we saw
- Apple Watch Series 3 – the new generation of the most popular smartwatch in the world doesn’t look that different from the Series 2 but has a lot of improvements inside. The watch has new software for heart rate monitoring, built-in LTE and mobile connection (users can call from it and take calls too), a more powerful processor, better Wi-Fi, a new altimeter and integration with Apple Music. Series 3 comes out on September 19;
- Apple TV – a new TV box now supports 4K resolution with brightest and most detailed colors. At its core, there is a more powerful A10X processor with improved performance;
- iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus – the updates to 7 and 7 Plus are here. Both smartphones have glass on both sides, a new A11 Bionic processor (world’s most powerful) with the Apple’s own GPU, a better 12MP camera (dual camera on 8 Plus), wireless charging support and AR features. iPhone 8 and 8 Plus will be available on September 22;
- iPhone X – the final accord of the presentation was “the future of the smartphone” or iPhone X. The amazing 5.8-inch Retina display with OLED technology takes the whole front side, FaceID unlocks the phone once you look at it, the dual 12+12MP camera delivers breathtaking pictures and you can create your own animated Emojis or Animojis. Other features come from iPhone 8. iPhone X comes out on November
