After 3 years of anticipation, YotaPhone 3 was finally announced three weeks ago. Unfortunately, the announcement wasn’t particularly interesting – we only learned about the actual existence of the device, its approximate release date and price. Now, there’s a new piece of information that tells much more. YotaPhone 3 was tested on the benchmark GFXBench, so its detailed specs were revealed.
According to new data, YotaPhone 3 will get a 5-inch Full HD display, an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor (supposedly 625) with 2GHz clock speed, Adreno 506 GPU, 4GB RAM, 64GB storage and Android 7.1.1 OS. Apart from that, YotaPhone will boast impressive cameras: 12 MP on the back (face detection, autofocus, 4K video support) and 13 MP on the front. Obviously, the phone will keep its trademark feature – the E-Ink display on the back that can be used for reading books, web browsing, and so on.
As we can see, YotaPhone 3 doesn’t surprise with the specs but they aren’t bad at all. The design and actual characteristics will be unveiled at the presentation in late summer. The sales will start in fall.
