Huawei has just presented a new Honor smartphone in China. Just like the last year’s Honor 8, Honor 9 became almost an identical copy of the latest Huawei’s flagman – P10. From the previous reviewed version Honor 9 “inherited” the design of the back cover with an interesting light reflection effect. Some other features came from Huawei P10.
The whole design of the new smartphone is a combination of Honor 8 and Huawei P10. We’ve already mentioned the back cover, and another change concerned the fingerprint sensor – It went to the front and got built into the Home button. Plus, unlike Huawei P10, Honor 9 has a 3.5mm headphone jack located on the bottom edge, just beside the USB-C port.
Naturally, Honor 9 is equipped with a dual camera: a 20MP monochrome sensor and 12MP colored one. The camera has f/2.2 aperture, laser autofocus and 4K video support. At the same time, the front camera boasts 8MP and f/2.0 aperture.
Other notable features include 5.15-inch display, Huawei’s own Kirin 960 processor, 4/6 GB RAM, 64/128 GB storage, 3 200mAh battery with Quick Charge support and Android 7.0 with Emotion UI 5.1 skin.
Huawei Honor 9, 64 GB and 128 GB are available for order.
