According to all plans, Microsoft held a special event in Shanghai and unveiled its new Surface Pro tablet. The company decided not to use any numbers and named the device quite simply Surface Pro On the outside, the tablet is very similar to its successor but the main prize lies inside.
The main improvements of Surface Pro are an Intel Core i7 processor and RAM integrated with the motherboard. Using all this power, the tablet can work for 13 hours from a single charge. Apart from that, the models with Intel Core m3 and i5 processors have a passive cooling system which makes them completely noiseless.
As for other specs, Surface Pro tablet comes with a 12.3-inch display (2736×1824 resolution), Intel HD (or Iris Plus 640) graphics, 4/8/16 GB RAM, 512 SSD. 2.1 Dolby Audio Premium speakers are responsible for the sound and there is a 5 MP web camera that supports Windows Hello.
Furthermore, Microsoft made a few adjustments to the built-in stand which now allows a tilting a tablet at a big angle. In addition, Surface Pro can be paired with the proprietary Surface Pen stylus or Bluetooth keyboard covered with Alcantara. Obviously, both accessories should be bought separately.
