HTC officially introduced its new flagship smartphone and it bears the name U11. The device received a number of interesting features and functions.
The main distinguishing feature of HTC U11 is the system Edge Sense, a one-of-a-kind technology that makes U11 unique. Edge Sense includes several pressure sensors built into the smartphone’s body allowing users to do control various operations just by squeezing the smartphone in a hand. For example, the users can turn on a certain app or take a photo that way.
The design of U11 reminds the blend of last year’s HTC 10 with the U-series smartphones that came out in early 2017. U11 is fitted with a 5.5-inch display (2560×1440 resolution and Gorilla Glass 5). The processing power comes from the best chipset – Qualcomm Snapdragon 835. It’s accompanied with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal memory.
Among other interesting features, there are a 12 MP main camera with multi-axis stabilization system and advanced autofocus, a 16 MP front camera, a decent 3 000mAh battery and great sound due to the BoomSound Hi-Fi Edition technology.
According to HTC representatives, U11 will be released in some markets next week. The worldwide release is expected in June. HTC U11 will cost $650.
