Sony had a big success with its Walkman sports MP3 players which don’t only store and play music but also serve as wireless headphones. Recently, Sony added two new devices to the line-up and they are still amazing.
The MP3-players called NW-WS623 and NW-WS625 are perfect companions for active people. Compared to previous models, these two became even more compact and light. Both players are still very much resistant to different weather – they withstand temperature changes from -5 to +45°C and they don’t fear salty sea water. In fact, NW-WS623 has an IP65 protection standard (30 minutes in water) while NW-WS625 has IP68 (long-term immersion to 2m depths).
As for other characteristics, NW-WS623 and NW-WS625 are pretty much the same. Both are fitted with Sony Ambient feature – it allows users to hear sounds of car driving by. The players work for about 12 hours with wired headphones or 4 hours via Bluetooth. The only difference is amount of storage: 4GB for the first one and 16GB for the second one.
Both MP3-players come out this June for $140 or $164 depending on the model.
