The Chinese company Ivvi unveiled its new smartphone called Ivvi K5. The smartphone is positioned as a serious competitor to other top models on the market but it doesn’t have particularly impressive characteristics. However, there is one feature that could surprise customers – the smartphone is fitted with a display that can project 3D images.
The truth is that the brand Ivvi now belongs to the company SuperD which is one of the biggest 3D screen manufacturers in China. That’s why a 3D smartphone seems quite logical after all. Ivvi K5 allow users to watch videos and play games with a stereoscopic effect without the need for special 3D glasses that you may have seen in movie theatres.
What’s more, Ivvi K5 boasts a glass-covered body. The back cover is actually made of more advanced composite-material glass. It is less fragile and much lighter which obviously affects the weight of the whole smartphone. As for other characteristics, Ivvi K5 has a 5.5-inch display, 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, a 3 000mAh battery and two cameras: 13 MP on the back and 8 MP on the front.
Ivvi i5 is already available in China for $319.
