On April 11th, just as expected, Xiaomi revealed a bit more information about its new flagship smartphone Mi6. Many people were hoping for the smartphone’s official presentation but the Chinese company didn’t live up to expectations. Nevertheless, the smartphone isn’t delayed for long – on April 19th we will finally see Xiaomi Mi6.
According to company’s representatives, the reason of the delay was the lack of flagship processors Snapdragon 835 by Qualcomm. Other than that, another interesting detail became available in the Internet – Mi6 won’t have a 3.5mm headphone jack. Unfortunately, Xiaomi didn’t provide any comments about this, so we don’t know if the smartphone will have a USB-C adapter or special headphones in the set.
As a reminder, Xiaomi Mi6 will have an octa-core Snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB storage and 12MP rear camera. Besides, we may see upgraded version with 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and a Plus version with a bigger screen and a dual camera. But even though the specs are known, fans are anticipating this release eagerly. And so are we.
