A famous wearable maker Garmin released its new fitness tracker Vivosmart 3. The device has all features from two previous generations: compact size and the display come from the original Vivosmart, while a heart rate sensor is taken from Vivosmart HR. Besides, the third edition has its own distinctive features, for example, the data tracking algorithms were improved and expanded.
Vivosmart offers more possibilities for activity tracking. The device can measure VO2 max and stress level during the day. Plus, if you’re doing some exercises, like pull-ups or push-ups, the tracker counts how many reps you’ve done.
Just like its predecessor, Vivosmart 3 has a waterproof body and fitted with Garmin Elevate. This function is used for measuring heart rate during the whole day and automatic activity tracking including intensity minutes, sleep, counting steps and floors climbed, measuring burned calories and travelled distance.
All the data, collected by the tracker, is displayed in the smartphone app available for iOS and Android devices. What’s more, Vivosmart 3 can be used for controlling music on the smartphone, checking out notifications and operating the Garmin VIRB camera.
Garmin Vivosmart 3 is available for $140.
