Notice: Samsung Galaxy Note 8, Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S9 are already available online for purchase.
Samsung hasn’t introduced smartphones Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus yet but the Internet is already getting filled with rumours about the next generation of the phablet Galaxy Note. After numerous problems and scandals with the last-year model, some people suggested that Samsung wouldn’t continue the line-up. In reality, Samsung doesn’t have such plans. Actually, a few schematic drawings of the Galaxy Note 8 were leaked. The new device will have similar design with Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus but with a few changes.
The drawings show a second speaker on the top edge and an additional button on the right side. The latter may be used for camera but it’s not confirmed yet. Besides, the microphone has quite an unusual shape and is fitted right under the screen.

As for the specs, different sources have interesting information. In terms of the processor, Galaxy Note 8 will get either Snapdragon 835 or 9-series Exynos depending on the region where it will be sold. The amount of RAM will be 6GB with 256GB of storage. The main distinction of this phablet may be the 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with amazing resolution – 4428×2160. Lastly, the device may feature a dual camera.
In any case, it seems like Samsung learned from previous mistakes and the next addition of the Note line-up won’t be as dangerous as the last one. The presentation of Galaxy Note 8 is expected in the second half of 2017.
