In the beginning of the year GPD announced their pocket laptop called GPD Pocket which runs on Windows 10 and has a 7-inch display. Only few people believed that this project would be successful but the device had a triumphant fundraising campaign on Indiegogo. Overall, the company managed to collect more than 2 million dollars.
GPD Pocket does work on Windows 10 and fully compatible with any apps and programmes, just like any other laptop. This pocket laptop would be very helpful for web browsing and even playing casual games. The keyboard is also quite small but very comfortable for typing.
As for the specs, GMD Pocket is equipped with a 7-inch IPS display with the 1920×1080 resolution, the Intel Atom x7-Z8700 processor, 4GB RAM, 128GB storage and the 7 000mAh battery. The pocket laptop offers several connectivity options including a USB-C port, a USB 3.0 port, HDMI and a headphones jack. The Internet is accessed via Wi-Fi.
GMD Pocket can still be pre-ordered on Indiegogo for $399.
And now, GPD published a video that shows how the laptop works.
