Tag Heuer presented one of the most interesting smartwatches on the market – Connected Modular 45. Just like the previous original version, this one was designed in cooperation with Intel. It is powered by the Intel Atom Z34XX processor. Plus, the smartwatch runs on the latest Android Wear 2.0.
The main feature of this smartwatch is its modular construction. Actually, Connected Modular 45 is the first smartwatch on Android Wear of this type. It means that users can create and customize the watch according to their tastes. It is possible to select the body colour, bands, clips, and so on. Connected Modular 45 can even look like a regular classic watch if the user wants so.
As for the specs, this smartwatch has a 1.39-inch AMOLED display, a mentioned Intel processor, 512 MB RAM, NFC for contactless payment via Android Pay, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS. Besides, the body is water-resistant and withstands submerging in water up to 50m depth.
Obviously, Tag Heuer Connected Modular 45 is quite pricey. Customers would have to pay $1 650 for the simplest version. Depending on the materials, the price can even reach $18 000.
