Xiaomi keeps expanding their product range with interesting device. This time, Chinese company turned to sports shoes. A few days ago, Xiaomi announced smart sneakers called 90 Minutes Ultra Smart Sportswear. The sneakers came out under the brand Mijia.
The defining characteristic of these sneakers is a built-in Intel Curie chipset. It is able to collect and store data. For example, athletes, who wear these sneakers, can learn their distance travelled, speed, burned calories, and so on. The information is displayed in the accompanying app. Apart from that, the chipset tracks the kind activity whether you walk, run or even climb.
Helpful fact – the sneakers work from a battery and one charge is good for 60 days.
This pair of shoes is obviously aimed primarily to professional athletes. That’s why manufacturers payed much attention to the sole design and air ventilation which helps a lot during running or intense trainings. Plus, there’s a special version for those who like working out night. The so-called “blue edition” shines in the dark making its owner visible.
