Sony at MWC 2017 – 4 New Smartphones

MWC 2017 has already made many fans happy but it’s not over yet. Yesterday was the turn of another big company – Sony – to present their novelties. Here is a brief review of all devices, unveiled by Sony.

  • Xperia XZ Premium – this is, as we see in the name, the most advanced smartphone in the line-up. Its main feature is a 5.5-inch display with the 3840×2160 resolution – it supports HDR with super-bright colours and high sharpness. Inside, there is the latest Snapdragon 835 processor and 4GB RAM + 64GB on board. The release will happen in spring, approximate price – $800;
  • Xperia XZs – this is like a little brother of the previous smartphone. A more compact device with a 5.2-inch FullHD display has mostly the same specs except for the processor – XZs has the Snapdragon 820. The sales begin on the 5th of April for $699;
  • Xperia XA1 – the first smartphone for the middle-end segment. This is actually the most “modest” device out of the whole line-up. For $299 users get a 5-inch display, 3GB RAM and the MediaTek Helio P20 processor. Most notably, the camera takes 23 MP images;
  • Xperia XA1 Ultra – an upgraded version of XA1. The combination of the same processor and 4GB RAM is displayed in the 6-inch screen – the biggest out of all Sony smartphones. The main feature is also cameras. 23 MP pictures are captured through a 24mm wide-angle lens. Plus, there is a 16 MP frontal camera for the best selfies.
