Being one of the most respected mobile device companies on the market, Samsung is always headliner at any technology event. This applied to CES 2017 and the same goes for the upcoming Mobile World Congress that will take place in Barcelona. Unfortunately, Samsung won’t unveil their new and highly anticipated Galaxy S8 smartphone there. But its place will be taken by another device and it looks like it’s going to be a Galaxy Tab S3 tablet.
Samsung has just sent invites to a press conference on February 26. On these cards, there is a darkened picture of a device that looks like a tablet. Plus, a couple of days ago Samsung paid a visit to the FCC (Federal Communications Commission) and acquired certifications for two models of Galaxy Tab S3: with LTE and only with Wi-Fi. This confirms previous rumours and we can soon witness the release.
According to a Korean publisher ET News, Galaxy Tab S3 will definitely be featured at MWC 2017. The same source also shared a bit of information about its specs. Apparently, Galaxy Tab S3 will have a 9.6-inch display with 2048×1536 resolution and a Snapdragon 820 processor accompanied with 4GB RAM.
Obviously, Galaxy Tab S3 can hardly replace Galaxy S8 as a headliner at MWC 2017. Nonetheless, this tablet is able to actually revolutionize the whole Samsung line-up. In any case, we’ll have to wait until the opening of MWC 2017 on February 26 and all the rumours will be confirmed or not.
