The comeback of the legendary brand Nokia on the smartphone market was successful. This, of course, means that we may see other products from this brand. For example, an interesting piece of information appeared on the GFXBench database.
Apparently, the company Foxconn (branch office of FIH Mobile) is working on a tablet with a huge, 18.4-inch display. If the information is true, the device will be obviously released under the Nokia brand but the Finnish company hasn’t provided any comments regarding this issue.
Anyway, this hypothetical Nokia tablet can definitely be a game-changer on the market. Apart from 18.4-display, it features a couple of software novelties, like Android 7.0 OS and the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor. There will also be a 4GB RAM and 64GB of inbuilt memory.
If that’s not enough, the tablet is fitted with two 12MP cameras on both sides supporting video recording in 4K. Besides, the tablet will have a bunch of various sensors, like accelerometer, barometer, compass, gyroscope, thermometer, and so on. In terms of connectivity, the device will support standard Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and NFC.
As Nokia was mute on this matter, we can only make assumptions about this device. Some sources even call it a “mini TV set” because of its enormous size. But one thing is certain – the brand Nokia is back and more and more products will appear on the shelves.
