Recently, the attention was drawn to India where Xiaomi presented a new version of Redmi Note 4 smartphone. This middle-end device kept most its characteristics except one – it has a different processor. This version was designed for the Indian market but it’s very likely to go global, especially if it gets acclaimed in India.
Now, let’s address the specs. It has the same 5.5-inch FullHD display, protected with 2.5D glass. Redmi Note 4 runs on Android 6.0 with MIUI 8 skin. But here is the main change – this version is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor which provides more power and 25% longer battery time, compared to previous MediaTek Helio X20. Users will have a choice of 3 versions: 2GB RAM + 32GB onboard memory, 3GB + 32GB or 4GB + 64GB. Of course, prices are quite different: $146, $161 and $190 respectively.
Apart from that, nothing else really changed. Redmi Note 4 kept its old two cameras (13 MP on the back and 5 MP on the front) and a powerful battery of 4.100mAh.
