The moment, which many tech fans have been waiting for, has finally come. After a recent return to the smartphone market, Nokia unveiled a new device, called Nokia 6. This is an especially perfect moment for a comeback, considering the ongoing CES 2017.
Nokia is now owned by another Finnish company HMD Global which controls all brand rights and promotes Nokia on the market. The new device features a traditional, simple but elegant design. Unlike Lumias with their flat screens, Nokia 6 is covered with protective curved 2.5D Gorilla Glass. The body of the smartphone is made of aluminium which gives the device a premium look and feel.
HMD Global also unveiled the list of Nokia 6 specifications and they are quite impressive. It has a 5.5-inch Full HD display. Running on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat, the smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor, accompanied with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB of inbuilt storage. In the camera department, there are two powerful sensors: 16 MP one the back and 8 MP on the front. Another notable feature of Nokia 6 is its audio performance. The device packs a couple of dual amplifiers which support Dolby Atmos and deliver loud and crisp sound.
The sales of Nokia 6 are beginning in early 2017 but only in China for CNY 1.699. As for other markets, there’s no clear information.
