Many smartphone makers announced their new creations at CES 2017. One of them is very successful Huawei – the company launched their flagman, called Huawei Mate 9. And by the way, this is the first Huawei flagman to finally hit the U.S. market.
The smartphone comes with a growing in popularity voice assistant – Alexa. Before releasing Mate 9, Huawei worked with Amazon to build Alexa into the smartphone. As a result, all users will be able to operate the device with this quite functional voice assistant.
Moreover, Mate 9 is fitted with a huge, 5.9-inch Full HD display. In the software department, the smartphone is also pretty good. Mate 9 is powered by the processor made by Huawei themselves – an octa-core Kirin 960. Apart from that, the phone has 4GB RAM and runs on the newest Android 7.0 Nougat, accompanied with Huawei’s own EMUI 5.0 skin.
The U.S. edition resembles the Chinese one in many aspects including cameras. It also has a dual rear camera: regular colour sensor with 20 MP and a monochrome sensor with 12 MP. That way, image quality becomes very rich and clear, even in poorly lit conditions or at night. Other notable features are a powerful 4000mAh battery and a super-charge function which provides half-full charging in only 30 minutes.
