Super-Thin Acer Laptop

Laptops can surprise you with many factors, like productivity, battery time or connectivity. However, sometimes, laptops packed with many features lack compactness – they are either thick or heavy. But in our modern society, when people are on the go most of the time, portability is one of the most important factors.
So, for this review we chose one of the thinnest laptops in the world – Acer Swift 7.

Acer is quite famous for the Swift line-up, where each one is practical solution for active people. But ultra-thin Swift 7 is the highlight in this series. The laptop is very notable for its size: it’s only 9.98mm thick and weighs 1.1kg. It’s even thinner than a document case, so the laptop will fit nicely in any messenger bag or backpack.

In addition, the laptop is cased in an elegant (black or gold) aluminium body. The 13.5-inch Full HD display is protected with anti-scratch Corning Gorilla Glass. Under the bonnet, you’ll find impressive software – Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB RAM and 256GB of inbuilt storage. By the way, Swift 7 runs on the latest Windows 10.

Swift 7 provides numerous connectivity options. It features a brand-new wireless connection technology (2×2 802.11ac with MU-MIMO) which provides security and high speed. Besides, the laptop is fitted with 2 USB Type-C ports with quick data transfer abilities. Last but not least, we must mention the battery. Swift 7 has a pretty good one – 2770mAh, which is enough for 9 hours of working. This battery time makes Swift 7 indispensable in people who spend a lot of time on the road.

In the end, Acer Swift 7 is a great mobile device in a compact body. The laptop is quite pricey ($1050) and not the most productive but it’s an excellent option for travellers or people on the go.
