Asus Transformer – Laptop/Tablet Hybrid

The Asus Transformer line-up has always offered a great selection of so called two-in-one devices. They combine the features of a tablet and a laptop. One of the advantages of these devices was their price, most of them were quite affordable for a broad audience. But now, there’s a new and more expensive addition to the line-up – Transformer 3 Pro.

As other devices of Transformer series, this laptop tablet hybrid runs on Windows 10. It’s fitted with a wide 12.6-inch display with a very high resolution – 2880 x 1920 pixels. Transformer 3 Pro is powered by the Intel Core processor and supports 16 GB RAM. The amount of internal storage is also pretty big – 512 GB.

Because it’s a hybrid device, Transformer 3 Pro comes with a keyboard. It has a backlight and a rather big touchpad. Plus, you get a digital Asus Pen for writing or drawing. When used as a laptop, the display is well positioned due to a special practical stand.

Also, as any tablet, Transformer 3 Pro has 2 cameras. The rear camera is very good – 13 MP, with all necessary features, like autofocus or high-quality video recording. The frontal one, though, is only 2 MP but you don’t have to use such a massive device for selfies. Furthermore, Transformer 3 Pro provides multiple connectivity possibilities: HDMI and USB 3.0 ports, Thunderbolt 3, headphone jack, SD-card slot and, of course, wireless connection modes, like Bluetooth 4.1 or Wi-Fi.

So, Transformer 3 Pro is a very impressive 2-in-1 device. Although it does have a high price, all its features justify it completely.
