Since the cancellation of Note 7, Samsung is desperately trying to compensate for sales falls, keep its customers and even attract new ones. The Galaxy S7 Edge has already received a new Blue Coral hue but that’s not the last colour change for Samsung flagman smartphones.
In South Korea (a birthplace of the company) a report has been issued, in which we can learn that Galaxy S7 is soon getting a Glossy Black colour option. Smartphones in that colour are about to hit the shelves already in December, according to anonymous “industry sources”.
The new Samsung S7 black version is obviously going to be much shinier than the regular black. Initially, Samsung had no such plans but the success of the Jet Black hue on new iPhones made Korean engineers change their mind. Plus, as we’ve already mentioned, Note 7 brought huge financial losses to the company. Therefore, Samsung uses every attempt to right their own wrongs.
All we can say is that this decision from Samsung has its reasons. Since the launch of blue coral S7 Edge, its sales raised a lot. Since November 11, 11.000 S7s had been purchased every day, which is even more than iPhone 7 with the same colour.
