The company ZUK is currently working on its new smartphone. The production is almost finished and the device is about to be released soon. Right now, the name is already known – ZUK Edge. Recently, a list of technical specifications has been revealed but they are a bit misleading.
According to the first source, AnTuTu benchmark, the ZUK Edge is expected to be a very attractive smartphone. It will work on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor with the speed of 2.35GHz. The software is complemented with 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB internal memory. As for the operating system, the ZUK Edhe will run on Android 7.0 Nougat. As usual, the smartphone will feature two cameras: 13 MP on the rear and 8 MP on the front. Unfortunately, the information from AnTuTu doesn’t provide any insight on the size of the display. The only known detail is that it is a Full HD model.
However, Chinese regulation company TENAA has also received some details about the forthcoming ZUK launch. It’s mostly similar to the first source but there are some differences. According to TENAA, ZUK Edge has only 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of in-built storage. Plus, it’s said that the device will operate on Android 6.0 instead of the latest seventh version.
The difference in data may stem from the fact that ZUK Edge is coming out in various versions which will have different sets of characteristics. Anyway, we’ll be following the news on this release.
