Yesterday, in London, OnePlus introduced the OnePlus 3T smartphone. It is a new version of the company’s flagship phone OnePlus 3. Comparing these two devices, we can see that design features weren’t changed, both smartphones look similar but there are some alterations in technical details, like camera and battery characteristics.
The new phone operates on OxygenOS, the operating system based on Android 6.0. The update to this OS is expected soon. The OnePlus 3T boasts a 5.5-inch Full HD display. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 821 processor along with 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of inbuilt memory.
Cameras are one of the brightest features of the OnePlus 3T. The rear camera is a 16 MP Sony IMX 298 sensor that can record 4K videos. The frontal one was updated, compared to the OnePlus 3 – it also has 16 MP, using a Samsung 3P8SP sensor.
As mentioned before, the OnePlus 3T has a bigger 3400mAh battery with a nice and helpful DASH Charging technology that allows users to operate the phone for the whole day after only 30 minutes of charging.
Starting November 22, the OnePlus 3T hits the markets in the USA (for $439) and the week after that – European markets.
