Before the official introduction there were a lot of rumours about the upcoming release from Huawei. Three different versions of the Huawei Mate were expected to be presented: Huawei Mate 9, Huawei Mate 9 Porsche Design and Huawei Mate 9 Pro smartphones. However, only the first two models were actually introduced at the event in Munich, Germany. People believed that, following the company’s policy, Huawei Mate 9 Pro would be presented later, and they were right – during the yesterday’s presentation in China Huawei finally revealed the Mate 9 Pro.
This mobile device didn’t disappoint – it replicates the characteristics of the more expensive Mate 9 Porsche Design, including the 5.5 inch Quad-HD curved display. Among other curious features there are an octa-core Kirin 960 processor, dual rear camera from Leica, the latest Android 7.0 Nougat and a fingerprint sensor.
The fact, that the Mate 9 Pro doesn’t have a Porsche brand on it, affected its price. There will be two versions available: 4 GB RAM and 64 GB of internal storage and 6 GB RAM and 256 GB of standard memory. So far, both versions are available only in China.
