Elephone S3 Smartphone– Brief Review

Chinese company Elephone is relatively new in the mobile device market but we already see that it’s making a lot of progress. Some of the models are highly competitive, even compared to phones from more experienced companies. But functionality, good connection and beautiful design of Elephone smartphones attract customers more and more. The same we can say about the latest device from the company, the S3, which we’re gonna tell you about now.

The main feature of this phone is its frameless high-resolution (1920х1080) 5.2” display. The screen provides fantastic colour rendition and reacts to five simultaneous presses from your fingers. While we’re on the subject of design, we should mention that the cover is made of solid metal but the weight of the device is still very low – only 145g.

The S3 runs Android 6.0. Inside there’s a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek MTK6753 and standard 3 GB RAM with 16 GB of built-in memory. To make it bigger you can always insert a micro-SD card (up to 128 GB).

The phone features 2 cameras – the rear one (13 MP), fitted with an accurate autofocus, works very well even at night. 5 MP in the frontal camera is quite enough to take beautiful selfies. One of its other advantages is enjoyable sound performance. Two dynamics on top half of the screen and on the bottom side provide great sound. In headphones the audio gets even richer.

The thing that could be better is the battery. In this phone there’s a 2100mAh which isn’t that impressive. The battery lasts for about 9-10 hours. That may be enough for one day but you’ll have to charge it every day.

To sum up, the Elephone S3 is a great, middle-end device. It’s not very expensive but it offers users everything they want from a good smartphone.
