LG, a globally known brand in consumer electronics, is also a well-established company on the mobile device market. However, their smartphones give very ambiguous impression – their “G” series was heavily criticised and didn’t have much success, whereas the “V” series was greeted more positively. Their new flagman smartphone V20 was expected with scepticism but actually, it’s not bad at all. Let’s take a look at it.
First of all, it runs brand-new Android 7.0 Nougat and works on Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor. Among other software features there are 4GB RAM, 32 (or 64) GB of internal storage and a 3200mAh battery.
The phone will definitely impress you with its video and audio characteristics, it was basically made for media lovers. The 5.7” QHD IPS display is excellent for watching films and videos, providing fantastic image quality. Beautiful sound performance is distinctively heard in headphones or through speakers due to 32-bit Quad DAC system.
V20 features a very nice dual rear camera. The first one has 16 MP and a 75-degree angle, while the second one has 8 MP but it takes wider shots due to the 135-degree angle. Both of them capture perfect, colourful images and provide a lot of possibilities for video recording with 3 High AOP mics and Steady Record technology. The frontal 5 MP camera allows you to take wide and vivid selfies.
Being the new flagship smartphone of the company, the LG V20 packs a lot of impressive features. It isn’t a ground-breaking and revolutionary phone but it has amazing camera characteristics and splendid sound performance.
