Sony Xperia XZ is a new Sony’s flagman smartphone, released in the beginning of October. The phone runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, although it’s soon expected to get an update to Android 7.0 Nougat.
Xperia XZ has a very colourful and vivid 5.2 inch screen that supports Full HD (1080p) resolution. The CPU is quad-core Snapdragon 820 Qualcomm which works very well with 3GB of RAM. In terms of storage, there’s 32GB standard space. That shouldn’t be a concern for users because there’s also a microSD slot which supports flash cards up to 256GB.
One of the most impressive elements of Xperia XZ is its camera. The phone is fitted with a 23 MP main camera. Along with new features, such as laser autofocus and infra-red RGBC-sensor, the camera will surprise everybody with its perfectly clear shots. Plus, the frontal 13 MP would be perfect for selfies.
With its 2900mAh battery Xperia XZ wouldn’t probably surprise users with its battery life but it will definitely be enough for one day of use.
As its main flagman contenders in the smartphone market, Xperia XZ is water- and dust-resistant. That means you can submerge it to the depth of one meter, although it isn’t recommended.
Traditinally, the Xperia XZ is fitted with a 3.5mm headphone jack on top of phone and a USB-C slot on the bottom. On the left side there slots for the microSD and SIM cards.
Sony Xperia XZ is available in three colours: dark-blue, black and platinum.
