Vice president Kamala Harris was interviewed by Fox News' Bret Baier on Wednesday, with the anchor unsuccessfully using various techniques to try and rattle the Democratic presidential candidate.

Stephen Colbert tore it apart. And so did Desi Lydic on The Daily Show, with the host addressing Baier's constant interruptions to Harris trying to answer his interview questions ("Sorry, can we get that mute button from the debate so she can complete a sentence?") and his attempt to trap the VP into "gotcha" moments.

"The whole interview was like this," Lydic says. "When he wasn't trying to shut her up he was trying to put words in her mouth."

Lydic also unpacks Harris' opponent Donald Trump's appearance at a town hall on Univision, America’s largest Spanish-language network, including the former president's referral to the Jan. 6 siege of the Capitol as a "day of love."

"The whole audience was one big reaction GIF," says Lydic, showing exactly that.
